In partnership with the California Student Aid Commission, L.A. Cash for College helps to coordinate FREE financial aid completion workshops between October and June throughout the Los Angeles area as part of a statewide campaign to increase awareness of and access to student financial aid programs. These workshops help students navigate financial aid application forms so that they can obtain the financial support needed to pursue their college dreams.

During the workshop season, trained volunteers from colleges, universities and businesses provide students and their families with one-on-one assistance to help them complete the FAFSA, the California Dream Act Application and access financial aid resources including Pell and Cal Grants.
