CFC Campaign Highlights show that over the last six years more than96,000 students have expanded their college opportunity awareness, while more than 30,000 families have received direct assistance completing FAFSA and Cal Grant forms. Additionally, in 2007 alone, The College Access Foundation of California contributed more than $350,000 in scholarships to local area students. More >>

The Cash for College Scholarship Awards Reception was hosted at L.A.’s Downtown Marrott. LAUSD Supt. Brewer along with the representatives of Assby. Speaker Nunez and Mayor Villaraigosa were on hand as The College Access Foundation of California awarded more than $250,000 in Cash for College Scholarships to local area students.

The 6th Annual Cash for College Workshops were held at locations throughout Los Angeles.  Workshops conducted in the months of January and February helped over 5000 LA area families complete the FAFSA and CalGrant application forms.     More >>

Family Night
Family Night offers a comprehensive set of resources for all stages of the college planning process.College preparation in middle school and early high school can determine whether a student is eligible to attend the college of their dreams. And the college dream is not just for fully documented students!
At Cash for College Family Night 2008, 10 local students received $1,000 Cash for College scholarships through the newly established Russell J. Hammer Scholarship Fund.
