Super Saturday - January 30, 2016

On January 30th, over 40 financial aid completion workshops were held simultaneously throughout the greater L.A. region to help students access financial aid resources to pursue a higher education.

L.A. Cash for College engaged over 170 volunteers to provide one-on-one assistance to students and families completing their financial aid applications, as well as provide them with information on financial literacy. Super Saturday workshops were kicked-off at Garfield High School in East Los Angeles, where Assemblymember Jimmy Gomez, LAUSD Board Member Monica Garcia, and Senator Kevin De Leon’s Office welcomed students and families in attendance.

Free Financial Aid Completion Workshops are still being held throughout the L.A. region up until the March 2nd financial aid deadline. For a list of workshops near you visit www.lacashforcollege.org/workshops.
